SOLVED! Plus - seriously - my bad. I had the "replenishment" supply ship that sails along side the Nimitz added in AI Carriers to accompany the Big E and the crates etc are an extension of the supply ship. DOH! When I added it to go along side a smaller/older carrier I saw those crates hovering 12 f...
