Re: A-12 VC panel disappearing
Update: Also, the scenario where the vc panel disappears and fails to reappear happens during nighttime flights.

Re: A-12 VC panel disappearing
Hi David and Crew: I can attest to Gorm's problem as well. I was in the process of conducting a couple of flights in the A-12 and the M-21/D-21 from Beale to Mildenhall. I experienced the same intermittent "flickering" as well. It usually occurs on takeoff on the initial climb-out. However, about ha...

Re: CG/Fuel Dump Problems/Questions
Thanks for that helpful information David! I really appreciate it! I noticed that the library also has a flight manual for an early-model Lockheed U-2. It might prove helpful with your u-2 project:

Re: CG/Fuel Dump Problems/Questions
Hello, David!! Thanks very much for the information!! Sorry to wrack your brain with the CG issue. Hope that you didn't lose much sleep trying to solve it programmatically. Glad to hear that it was just a typo in the manual!! That's great that it doesn't need too much adjustment from its takeoff con...

Re: CG/Fuel Dump Problems/Questions
Excellent! Thanks very much for taking the time to look into that, David. I really appreciate it (sorry about being so nitpicky!). Also, thank you for those tips regarding the fuel consumption and the CG in the A-12 versus the SR-71. I'll keep that in mind the next time that I fly and plan according...

Re: CG/Fuel Dump Problems/Questions
Edit: I just read the manual a little more closely, and found that the fuel selector knob only shows the contents of each tank, not selects which one dumps (page 17)...sorry about that!! I also tried selecting "AFT" , "FWD", "Nose" and "Tail" tanks via the fuel panel popup screen, but again, only th...

CG/Fuel Dump Problems/Questions
Hi David, Firstly, I just wanted to let you know that I am greatly enjoying the Cygnus...thank you and fantastic job! I have, however, run into a problem with the fuel tank dump/selector switches in the VC: - When I want to dump fuel from certain tanks to lighten the aircraft before landing or shift...

Re: Missing Nose Vapor Effect
Just a quick update. I opened and viewed the SR-71's effects (.fx) files via Notepad. As it turns out, the problem was that the effect "fx_Glowingheat_SR71_vapor3.fx" effect that controls the nose vapor was attributed to the effects texture "fx_Aa-Con.bmp", which doesn't exist in the FSX "Effects" "...

Missing Nose Vapor Effect
Hello All, I just had a quick question for all of you. I recently downloaded V2.4 of the Glowingheat SR-71 for FSX (I'm running it on a Windows 10 operating system) and I've really been enjoying flying it. I've noticed, however, that when I perform steep climbs or turns with the aircraft, the vapor ...
