The first time you run FSX after the install and after adding the section to the DLL.XML file you will get these two windows on launch.
If not then it isn't being seen. Maybe a typo in the path line of the <Launch.Addon> section?

Re: Enterprise Final Cruise
Thank you for the question. One thing that does come to mind right away is to make sure you have the correct version of the ship configuration module installed into the \Gauges folder. For FSX, FSX-SE, and P3Dv1-3, it should be the 32-bit version: "SDB_ShipConf32.dll". And then make sure the same ve...

Re: Carrier not present in RFN Gauge V5
Thanks for purchasing the product. You didn't say whether you were running the latest version (Final Cruises -- F/A-18s) or the previous 1980's release (F-14s) but I'm going to assume the latest version. The first thing I would do is put the gauge exactly where the instructions say to put it -- Vcoc...

Re: The Enterprise in P3DV5
Did some further testing to cover all bases. The ships do move in P3Dv5. And once they are moving the wakes will appear. So the question is how they are being made to move. 1) If using AI Carriers to place them and then select "Forward" in the menu they will move immediately and show a wake. 2) If u...

Re: Can I use both the old and new Enterprise packages?
An image used in answering another question regarding wakes in P3Dv5 is below. You can see here that both versions can co-exist in the same sim at the same time. Historically it isn't accurate at all since they only built one but we have encountered it by accident when testing ship traffic files in ...

Re: The Enterprise in P3DV5
I installed the Enterprise (1st release) in P3DV5. The ship looks beautiful, but two problems. The first is the ship is not moving, and the second is there is no wake effect. I have tried suggested effect file, mentioned in a different thread on the forum, but the problem of the missing wake persis...

Re: error message RFN gauge P3D v4.5
Sirs, New to this forum, not new to p3d v4.5. I have the gauge visible, on from rfn_carrier-gauge 5.00, but the message "Tuned zone is not active" is up. How do I get the zone to an active status. Thank you. Jack Would it be possible to see a screenshot of when this occurs. The term "zone" is used ...

We were on v3 beta team. v3.4.23.20420 is what we have installed. Not sure what the public ended up with.

Re: New Gauge
You might also try adjusting the "Bright" button in the lower left corner of the Radio Box section (bottom half) of the gauge. This will brighten the text at least. For some reason there is no discussion of this button in either the English or French versions of the manual but I'm sure it will be ad...

Re: New Gauge
You can't change the brightness based on time of day or cockpit lighting but that is a really interesting idea that I will pass along to Sylvain. He is "staying at home" these days and spending a lot of time on flightsim projects. If anyone can make something like that happen he can. In the meantime...
