Future Plans

Post by skipph1 » Fri May 22, 2020 2:44 pm

Hi David, Any plans for future development? I would love to see you bring your hangar to XPlane 11 where there is a real vacuum of quality aircraft such as your creations. I have been 95% on XP11 and I still go back to FSX occasionally to fly the B-58 and SR71 but the difference between the 2 sims is night and day with Xplane having great dynamics and scenery. Hope all is well with you and look forward to a future with Glowingheat in it. Skip

I guess the lack of response gives me my answer. Good Luck David in all your endeavors. Skip

Hi Skip,

Apologies, I've had a bit of a time of it the last few months of lockdown here.

I'm currently working on a new SR-71 for FSX, P3D V4 and V5, screenshots on my facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Glowingheat

What say now David with MSFS 2020 and XP12 on the horizon, any plans to bring this impressive line up to the new sims? I am really hoping you have the time and ambition to make this happen. There are no representations of your creations on these platforms. It's been a couple of years since I have asked this question, the honeymoon must be over by now, lol. Hope all is well. Skip

Hi Skip,

Currently sticking with P3D V5, aware that MSFS is graphically a lot nicer, but to move my aircraft across would require a rebuild in Blender, and learning how to use Blender. Both of which are prohibitively time consuming right now.

Maybe one day that will change, but if it helps, there's an SR-71 by Milviz being worked on for MSFS, not sure about the Hustler..... seems developers for MSFS are doing the middle of the road popular aircraft, not sure where the Hustler fits with that.

Hope all is well with you?

Cmon David, Please bring these cold war aircraft to MSFS 2020! I know, easier said than done. LOL What a treat this would be to have these birds in a sim such as 2020. I know I said the same for P3D and also XPlane, but the 2020 platform is here to stay and what a scenario to bring these cold war aircraft into. There are no developers who are considering these iconic models as far as I know. I am sure I am not alone in this request.

Now, a really "Great Thing™" would be the B-58 for P3D v. 5...

Will see about getting it into V5.4 and V6, however the interior is rather basic looking these days.
