I've been dabbling with the 2022 model and the previous version (2011? FSX) both in P3D V5.3.
The old version does indeed work: the radar panels and refueling panel comes up fine. If I chase a selected aircraft and have auto refuel on the tanks top up to 100%.
I've been having a play with the 2022 panel config by adding the info provided by renniks. The refuelling panel comes up fine, and but oddly the radar panel comes up as what appears to be the underlay of the look down part of the old (pre-2022) RSO view window.
I've tried adding the Glowingheat bit he mentioned in the aircraft.cfg file but that doesn't seem to make any difference.
So I think it's capable of refuelling in P3D V5.... things just need tweaking.....I'll play for a bit more... I think I'll attempt to get it working in the FSX-2022 version first and go from there.
Update 01/04/2023:
(Not an April fool).
So yesterday I installed the 2022 Version into FSX-SE and got the refuelling panel and radar panel working in that.
I copied that into P3DV5.3 folder and now that works too in P3D: full radar and panel and it refuels too.
But if I replicate what I did in the FSX version into the panel and aircraft files into the P3D version, I can still only get the refuel panel up and the other panel displays a downward view. The refuel function works if you get close, but the radar would still be a nicety to have.
This is the pre-2022 version
