New Lockheed A-12 Cygnus in development

Hoping all is going well with this aircraft development. Most anticipated on my end. I've been hoping for an A-12 for as long as I can think. Again fantastic job from the already published screenshots.

Work is progressing well, I'm currently building the VC main panel, I'm hoping to make it as paint friendly as possible

Thanks Samro, it's a very overlooked aircraft, although somewhat unjustly since the Lockheed A-12 was actually faster and flew higher than the heavier SR-71, but the project was short lived as the SR-71's came online there was no need to continue to operate two Mach 3+ types, and since the SR-71 had been made public the CIA operated A-12s were sent to Palmdale in California for storage.

Contrary to popular misconception, the SR-71 was never to my knowledge operated from Area 51, only the A-12 was flight tested and operated from Area 51 after being constructed in and transported from Burbank.

HI Correct on the SR-71 NOT being at Area 51. One point on the A-12 only Article Numbers 121 and 124 had the triangle shaped pies on the Chine. Article 123( 60-6926) had rectangle shaped panels.

Thanks, the numbers I put on the fin are just place holders really, as it's also lacking the markings on the main fuselage - still work in progress!

This is indeed exciting news. The scheme with the darker leading edges is very striking as well as the piggy backed reconnaissance drone.
