CTD in P3D V4, starts with Nose tilted up in the air?

Hi folks,

Seems to be a slight problem with the A-12 in P3D V4, after about 5 minutes the aircraft will CTD.

Also noted that when I start at any airport, the front nose of the aircraft is off the ground tilted up, as if the flight model CG is wrong and/or all the fuel in the rear ??

Thoughts?

Cheers, Rob.

Hi Rob,

That's strange you get a CTD, I've not heard of any others so far. If it keeps happening, let me know your system specs, OS version and what your graphics settings are and what you're currently doing in the simulator eg how high fast etc.

I would also suggest creating a new flight, because if you use the default flight it will start tilted upwards due to the previously loaded models settings. The CG is quite specific, so create a new flight and see how that goes.

Not sure if it might make a difference, but I see there is a hotfix for Prepar4d V4

Worth a try as it fixes quite a lot of items including some memory leaks.

Kind regards,

David.

At Eglin code KVPS a default airport it is tilted...
On other add-on airports it looks fine.

Hi David1952,

Make sure that the aircraft has 100% fuel, or at least balanced tanks. If you're loading a saved flight, it often loads the saved fuel state of the previous aircraft, which in the case of the A-12 may cause it to tilt upwards, because too much fuel is at the aft end.
