Henk ("hschuit") Schuitemaker's has made a modification to the afterburners of the B-58.

His description:
- Below 95% rpm, the engine exhausts/burners were untextured black holes.
- Above 95% specially the inner engine burners where not visible at certain viewing angles.

He also updated the [smokesystem] and the xml controller: Before, all engines would smoke depending on engine 1 rpm. Now each engine's smoke depends on the rpm of that particular engine.

It is available from the Add-Ons Library at Sim-Outhouse.

Seems the effect has not made it into P3D 2.5. Any chance of having a look at that mode? Thanks, Skip

Hi Skip,

Make sure that the effect .fx file and it's textures are in the P3D effects folders.

As far as I know there is no reason why they shouldn't work, although I have not tested them myself.

David.

Dave, Glad someone is awake because I sure am not. That was the problem, no effects put into the effects folder for the 2.5 version. Thanks, Skip
