Hatchs' Not Opening

Post by skipph1 » Thu Mar 20, 2014 7:50 pm

HI Glowing Heat, I am having a slight problem with the model not opening all the hatches upon hitting shift-e. Only the pilot position is opening. What might I be doing wrong? Skip

Hi Skip,

I noticed this in testing although it happened sporadically I could not put my finger at what was causing it, although I suspect it's caused by starting with a saved flight.

Try creating a brand new flight and see if that works?

Best regards,

David.

It does not make any difference, I only open the pilot hatch no matter what the model is whether a saved flight or a new flight. Skip

I've been using Shift+E, Shift+E+1, and Shift+E+2 for all the cockpits and they have been working ok. Hope this helps. Brian :)

Still, trying all the above recommendations, I can only get the pilot hatch to open. Another anomaly I have noticed is when I hit the drag chute to deploy on landing, the wheel chocks appear also behind and in front of the the main landing gear. I have deleted and reinstalled at least 4 times all with re downloads also. I do have to admit that I am using Steve's DX-10 fixer and I will test all problems with DX-9. Skip

I just tried DX-9 with the same results. Only pilot hatch opens with ctrl e and chocks appear when hitting drag chute on landing and stay on for entire rollout and taxi, even after drag chute has been released. Skip

The wheel chocks are programmed to appear when the parking brake is active.

The drag chute is programmed to be activated by the spoiler command. It sounds to me like your FSX install could be screwed up or affected by another addon as I have not had any other reports of these issues?
