Static WW2 aircraft

Post by Gunsmoke » Thu Jan 07, 2016 10:13 am

I am seeking a source to download static WW2 aircraft for my Airfields. I have FSX and a large number of RAF and USAAF stations installed and have made various additions using Instant Scenery editor and SAMM but I lack a source for aircraft. I am looking to add Lancasters to my bomber stations. I have not been successful so far trying to make static versions of FCS Lanc. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Hi,

I'm not personally aware of any AI Lancasters that are available, but it may be worth asking on the sim-outhouse.com forum as there are a greater number of avid Lancaster flyers there.

Best regards,

David.

Use SAMM2, available on most Freeware sites, to create your own. Most FS9 & FSX flyable aircraft will make static objects. You can then place them using Instant Scenery3.
Hope this helps.

Have you managed to get static aircraft yet?I can not get SAMM to work.Have you tried it?I have downloaded static B17,B24,P38,P47 and P51,also Spit and Typhoon.I can probably point you to these if they are of interest. The Lanc,Halifax and Mossie are still on my want list
