Can I extract static Halifax etc from Driffield scenery to use on my own airfields?

Will have to defer to Michael on that. He compiles them however he does for a specific reason.

For use in your own airfields yes. But you must not upload them within your sceneries to any freeware site.

I have downloaded the Driffield scenery.I drew 500 English WW2 airfields,which include Driffield and Snaith but they lack static aircraft.I have tried to use SAMM on my three computers,but get various error messages on all of them,so I am stuck for statics.Because the SDB scenery is self installing,I can not see how to get the static files out to use in ADE.Can you help out with this?

There are no statics at any of the Halifax sceneries they are all AI aircraft. I regret it's not for us to tell you how to do it with Payware.

The blurb for Driffield states there are AI,and static Halifaxes,a Hurricane and Mosquito.Running the scenery,the airfield has loads of static Halifaxes and a Hurrcane.I have not seen the Mossie yet.I bought it from Simshack.Driffield 42493 8.2.17 and Snaith,41994,13.6.17

I just installed our RAF Driffield and RAF Snaith to check and took a look at the manuals. Originally I think there may have been a mix of statics and AI (according to the Driffield manual) for some of the aircraft. In the current releases everything is an AI. A way to verify that is to turn AI traffic down to zero in Options/Traffic and you'll see there are no more aircraft. If you still want to change these to statics (I have no idea how, I just paint the aircraft) you can find them in Simobjects/Airplanes. What you do with them is your business, just don't upload the results anywhere.

Looks as though you are right.There are 19 Halifaxes on dispersals,but they all disappear when I turn the traffic slder down.A pity the author did not use static models ,which do not ruin the frame rate.Thanks for the reply.

All the Halifaxes are AI because I wanted them all to leave on a mission. It's my scenery and that was my decision. But..........here it comes.........I forgot to take out the static models in the library. They are there to be found for those who know where to look and what with. Also don't forget we supply AI Halifaxes with the sceney. SAAM? Nudge wink I say ner moa squire.
