There's a DDG Robison supplied with the Team SDB Enterprise, Is there a fix for the misaligned exhaust smoke for the USS Robison DDG-12?

Exhaust is high and little off center of stacks. (P3D V3.4) Perhaps an effect file issue.

SimShack.net
Order Number: xxxxxx

Is that sufficient?

I ask about this at SIM OUTHOUSE see response # 24. I might of been able to fix it but need P3D SDK installed
before using MCX.

I've been away all weekend. I'll install the original Enterprise into P3Dv3 and have a look. I'm running v3.4.23.20420.

Yep, it's an issue with P3Dv4 as well. FSX and FSX-SE using the exact same files are okay. We'll get it fixed.

Thanks Frank for looking into this.
I got your PM over at outhouse. I also sent you a reply PM over there as well.
When that issues is fixed, how will that be dispatched, separate file or new installer or....?????

Frank,

I just read your PM over at SOH about installer. It sounds like both FSX and P3d were combined into one installer but what was confusing was that the installer
title says fsx acell. I did a manual install to P3D V3.4 -

Now it is my understanding that the mismatched smoke effect is still a WIP for correction as it sounds like you noted it in P3D.
Not sure about that RFN gauge you mentioned over at SOH (what the issue is/was) but discounting that, the issue with the smoke effect
is something that you are still trying to remedy.... at least I hope so... :D

Prepar3D seems to handle offset values in effects files differently than FSX. That is why the smoke was out of position.

We have edited the USS Robison mdl file to correct the issue and use a single effects file with no offset.

Download the file linked below and view the Readme.txt file.
