error message RFN gauge P3D v4.5

Post by wsciutti » Sat Jun 13, 2020 12:39 pm

Sirs,
New to this forum, not new to p3d v4.5. I have the gauge visible, on from rfn_carrier-gauge 5.00, but the message "Tuned zone is not active" is up.

How do I get the zone to an active status.

Thank you.

Jack

Would it be possible to see a screenshot of when this occurs. The term "zone" is used pretty often by the developer of the gauge in the manual so an image would be helpful to see when this is occuring.

It does sound like whatever you are tuned to is not close enough. For ships the zone is within 100 miles.
The gauge doesn't check to see what you have installed. If the gauge is running and you tune to something in its list of frequencies it will attempt to acquire it. If it can't find it it might throw up that message?

If a screenshot is not possible can you give an example of what you were tuning to and whether or not it is in the game? And approximately how far away it was if it was installed?
Will try to reproduce.
